Film critic, Lecturer, Program advisor at Art Film Fest
Daniel Vadocky (1980) graduated in philosophy at University of Trnava in 2003. In 2006 he graduated at the Department of Film Science and Multimedia. Nowadays he gives lectures on philosophy, aesthetics and contemporary Asian film at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. At the same time he works on his PhD thesis: “Contemporary ‘Auteur’s’ feature films in Southeastern Asian cinematography“. He is a member of the program team in the section of short film competition at the International Art Film Fest in Slovakia. He works on his first publication about a famous Slovak director/producer Fenic and has published several film analysis & articles on film history/theory.
