ABOUT THE FILM

An experimental documentary by a Chinese director who lives in France.

Remarkable work. To reveal man's inhumanity like you have in a lyrical and poetic rendering. The last shot of the huge skyscraper looking as if it's giving the bird to your ideals of compassion say's it all.

Not just very nice effects. It's a nice humanistic response to capitalism. A very nice document of China and its economical development. I saw it at the Pompidou and I was impressed back then too. Congratulations!
