Angelita is a salvadoran woman who lives in USA. She works as a cleaner in a restaurant, lives in a van and each month sends remittances for helping her family in El Salvador with the money she earns looking for bottles and cans into the trash.
Juan Carrascal, born in Valladolid in 1979, graduates in Sociology at Salamanca University and in film editing at ECAM , (Official Madrid´s cinema School). He carries out most of his work in editing, working for TV in Brainiac (CUATRO), Cazador de palabras (TELEMADRID), documentaries (SACYR-VALLERMOSO SKYSCRAPPER) and videoclips (e.g. PRESSURE by Standard).
He makes his debut as a producer in 2007 with “Abuela Notición” (Grandma amazing news), winning the award “una peli azconiana” at Notodofilmfest 2007. He also makes “la noche pintaba bien” (the night drew us), winning the “premio recortado” of Cajamadrid in 2008, best short film of Castilla y León at Medina del Campo´s festival, best experimental short-film at FICA 2008, and best very short-film award at Elche´s Festival in 2008.
His last work, coauthored with Arturo Artal, “La bolita: el cortometraje” (The little ball:the short film) and “La bolita:la verdadera historia” (The little ball:the true tory), which gained the best fiction film award at notodofilmfest.
At the moment, he Works as editor in TV, films and commercials.
