Since China is heating up with excitement for the 2008 Olympic Games, we at CON-CAN decided to introduce Huang Ying, an extremely talented female director from China who was granted the Grand Prix for the 4th CON-CAN Movie Festival. We have renewed the CON-CAN website!
The main design or concept of the new website is the “global arch” which represents the earth. The global arch symbolizes “globalism”, the strongest attribute CON-CAN possesses. In the new website, we aim to provide you with a simple and easy-to-use interface so everybody can enjoy the wonderful collection of short movies. In addition, we are planning to introduce various pages that will cater to the interests of the general public and have gift campaigns/contents for CON-CAN members. We would kindly like to ask for all of your support for the new, re-born CON-CAN.

The grand opening of the 5th CON-CAN Movie Festival!
We have started the online voting process for the 5th CON-CAN Movie Festival. This year, we have divided the audience voting process into 4 groups according to the uploaded periods. 20 movies (Group A) in May, 20 movies (Group B) in June, 20 movies (Group C) in July, and 20 movies (Group D) in August will be the upload schedule for the competition. From each group, one director will be given the Audience Award (US$500) based on YOUR vote. In order to vote and post comments, you will need to become a member (free of charge). It’s very easy to become a member, just click on the “MEMBER REGISTRATION” button located in the navigation menu and fill out the form. Upon registration, please participate in the voting process. Every vote counts! (Registered members can log in and vote directly from the “WATCH CON-CAN MOVIES” page.)
