Two brothers are headed for the city to look for work. Their bus has a flat tire. The beautiful girl seems oblivious, but a passionate game begins. African music adds special charm to this comic on-the-road movie from Africa.

James Gayo was born in 1962 in Tanzania. He is well known for his popular kingo cartoon strip appearing in several dailies in East Africa and Zambia.
James turned a full time cartoonist/comic artist immediately after his secondary school.
In 1995 James, together with other artist started kingo magazine, in which he was the editor and the scriptwriter. The magazine was popular for humour stories and political satires.
Writing and making storyboards for the magazine deepened his desire for writing scripts for screen.
In 2004 he joined a group of scriptwriters for a local sit-com wandani.

Unlike many comedies that try so hard to be funny, The trip is naturally funny. I like how the incidents develop so naturally from a problem to a disaster! This is a well written story!

From my own experience I can say that this is a truly African story, though told in a very special and brilliant way. I really hope to see more films like this one.

I was moved to rears as the film me reminded me of my happy days in East Africa, especially in Tanzania. Ndugu Gayo, Hongela sana !!! Nitakubusu !!!
