Baano is raped by her father-in-law, Tahir. A village council is held, and as a result Baano is punished, for a strong sex discrimination exists in their religious views. This is a movie based on a true story, giving a question of ethics and morality to the viewer.
Rajeev Ahuja was born in a small village in India, and as a young boy migrated to Delhi. After graduating from Delhi University in arts, he started working as a freelance photographer with leading newspaper "The Statesman" in Delhi.
During 2001 and 2002, Rajeev Ahuja studied filmmaking from Cine Studio Bologna, Italy.
