This year's film from dynamic Swedish director Daniel Wirtbeg includes no spoken lines at all. A lonely man approaching retirement finds a reason for living in shoplifting. Then one day he finds his territory invaded. This 10-minute film should not be missed.

Daniel Wirtberg was born in Karlstad, Sweden, 1983. He started
filmmaking at the age of twelve. Eighteen years old he was accepted
for the Czech film school FAMU´s international program. Since
his graduation 2003 he has studied literature and freelanced
as writer, director, producer and as tutor in filmmaking.

台詞なしでここまで描写できてしまうんですね。画面では必要以上に打ち解けない二人の微妙な距離感に、それぞれのいろんな思いや可能性が秘められている気がします。
