Yes there is a moral but from a technical and performance aspect of filmmaking, both of which are integral to story depiction, there are obvious flaws. The two leads are not "convincing" in their performances - both have ample time on-screen to build up a profile/persona. The female is too well dressed and not "dishevelled" enough for someone with a deadly virus. To me she conveys "allure". Also the male lead who was "victimised" somewhat by the policeman on the platform displays no sense of "distaste" for the law of the world in general bar one comment - "the police took the cigarette for free". The male lead needed more of a "heinous" and "callous" expression without going to the extent of a "Mumbai Rogue" look.

But yes, the punchline and story construction is there.

どんな場所に居ても現実からは逃れられない、という最後の一撃で観客もみんな正気に戻る気がします。個人的には最後のテロップは無くても良いのではないかと。

It's amazing that the film was shot for just 3 hours on a crowed train. It succeeds in depicting some deep and dark sides of Indian society. AIDS is definitely one of the most serious problems. I hope there will be some good solutions in the near future. This film is an eye opener for me in a way. Very good.

The film is brilliant and very thought provoking. Its 12 minute screening leaves a long lasting and powerful impression on the minds of the viewers.

Deep and dark, it manages to enlighten the audience with an exemplary message in the end. It exhibits the fact that while some opportunities enhance our living on a highway, there are others which lead to a dead end. The above instance is a perfect example of the latter case that justifies the title completely. It exhibits the irony of the protagonist catching the train to go to Panvel. Little did he realize that it would result in his gateway to the other world through a lot of suffering in the process?

The socially relevant issue of AIDs has been brought out in a sensitive manner.
