Our world today is full of people desperately suffering from poverty. The life and poverty of refugees and the smiling faces of children who live in such circumstances – This is the reality that spreads in front of the camera.

Profile:
Hazim Bitar is a Jordanian/Palestian filmmaker born in Saudi Arabia in 1964 to Palestian Parents who settled in the Arabian Peninsula as a result of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. He imigrated to the USA in 1981 to pursue his university education. He recieved his BSC in Computer and Information Science and MA in Organizational Management. His passion for cinema and filmaking has deep roots. His father was a screen actor, scriptwriter, and director in Saudi Arabia's first TV channel. His mother was one of the first women TV personalities in Saudi Arabia in the 1960s. Bitar's filmmaking experience started as a desire to tell human stories. He is the founder and coordinater of the Amman Filmmakers Cooperative (AFC), a Joran-based cultural initiative to promote independent digital filmmaking in the Arab world.

猫ちゃんがだるそうでかわいいな。いいエンディングでした。タイトルから想像したドキュメンタリー作品とは違うものだった。

撮り方や、カットがうまい映像でした。 たくましく生きている人々の背景は大変厳しいものでしょうが、子供達が遊んでいる姿は、どんな状況でも人類に希望を与える姿だと思いました。 最後の映像の見せ方も、人から猫の目にうつったかんじがよく出ていました。
