Emre Ergul was born in Istanbul, Turkey on February the 11th, 1975 and graduated from kultur college and then from British literature faculty of Aegean university, Izmir-Turkey. His professional of journalism started at SABAH daily, one of the leading dailies of Turkey. He worked as foreign news desk reporter for 6 years. Then he promoted to be foreign news desk editorof SABAH. Since august of 2004 he is the general news editor of SABAH... (http://www.sabah.com.tr) His interest in cinema professionally started in 2000 with two major cinema workshops. He has around 4 screenplays for short movies. He shooted his first short, 2 Eylul on June of 2006. He still works on a movie script about 1453 (The Fall of Constantinapole) and a novel project about a lost divine book... Graduated from two cinema workshops. "2 Eylul" is his first profession.
