Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is known as the holy land of the Tango. Scenes of this sun-dried city along the way toward Montevideo are shown on photographic slides in a tour-guide fashion. The viewer will find himself enticed by photographs so vivid that he can almost hear the tumult of the city. Undoubtedly he will be left with a desire to visit.
Emiliano Penelas was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on July 18, 1977. It is graduated as Cinematographer from the National School of Cinema (ENERC) dependent on the National Institute of Cinema and Audio-visual Arts (INCAA) of Argentina. He codirected, as member of the May 1st Documentary Group, the full-length documentary "Matanza".
