The inmates experience feelings of anticipation and uncertainty on the morning of the interview. A guard fixes his attention on one particular youth.The opera was scored by one of the most exciting new talents in music composition, Conor Mitchell.

Screening / Award history:
Pretty Face won the Stella Artois Best Irish short at the Foyle Film Festival, November 2005 and has screened in competition at Cork Film Festival, Chicago Irish Film Festival, Queerscreen (Sydney and Melbourne), Long Island Gay & Lesbian Film Festival and in the short film bureaux of Clermont Ferrand and Edinburgh.
