Orli, a spirit child, still resides in a cemetery on the earth plane and plays at night with her friends, oblivious to other planes of existence. During Play, Orli stumbles into the darkness. Who will lead Orli away from the dark and what amazing events does spirit life still have in store for her and her friends? The watercolor painting-like touches, the timbre of a music box, and the richly emotional and gentle tones of the storyteller leave the viewer with an impression of the warmth imparted by a book read in childhood.
I have recently completed a degree in Animation in which I specialised in traditional 2D. I most enjoy the developmental stages of a film, designing characters, backgrounds, storyboarding and animatic. I look to life drawing, fine art, fairy tale, my own background for influence. My spiritual beliefs always find their way into my ideas. I have much to learn, it can only get better.
This is the first time I am submitting my film to fesitvals. It is my graduation and first film.
