A story with wire characters about deep love and betrayal. Human expressions and characteristics are deformed and simplified to the limit. It is a new approach combining elements from CG animation and Hitchcock.
Juan Carlos Mostaza was born in Valladolid (Spain) on June, the tenth, 1979. Meanwhile he was studying at High School in Leon in 1996 won the nation first prize of European Competition for Educational Multimedia Software with his work in CD-ROM Leon . This work is finalist in Europe with other projects from Universities. Along this year won several prizes with 3D works, including the IBM First Prize. From 1997 to 2001, he was studying Computer Engineer at University of Leon and got a grant to collaborate with the IEEE Department. Juan finished his career in the 2nd position out of a total of 120 students, obtaining the best mark of the year on Computer Graphics. In 2002, he did Master in 3D Computer Graphics and carried on making 3D projects and being finalist in several European Competitions. Currently he works as a Lecturer of 3D and Digital Compositing at University of Leon combining scientific investigation on CG with arts. His Ph. D. is about Monocular Motion Capture and collaborates with Cardiff University (UK) in investigations in this field. The brand new techniques investigated by Juan are used in the short film Broken Wire to achieve density atmospheres ten times faster than other systems.
