At a workers' camp in the underground city after the future war, EM reencounters his ex-fellow-soldier and realizes that all the war-captives are branded with a strange logo. 作品全体から終始伝わるDARKな感覚にやられました。 主人公の絶望感や人生に対する虚無感などにおける心理描写が強く印象に残る一本でした。

‘プチプチ’は結構レビューで書かれているので置いておいて、逃亡劇の中に漂う資本主義の匂い。主観的に感じさせなくてもその匂いを感じさせるという構成が好きです。 作品にメッセージを埋め込む上で大事なのはハーフ＆ハーフだと思っています。１００％前面に出してもそれは一方的に叫んでるだけだろうし、控えめにしすぎても見る側は感じ取れない。ハーフ＆ハーフとは放つメッセージの強さと受け取るメッセージのバランス。見る側はそそられる程度にメッセージを感じ取り、次第に自らそれを感じ取ろうとする。悪く言えば紐のつけた餌を置いておいて、観客をひっぱっていく感じ。最もこれは自分が作品を作る上での意識なのだけれど、それに似たものを感じました。 でもやっぱり‘プチプチ’が･･･。
