A short film that showcases the interaction between invertebrates and their environment, a forest covered with snow. There is life in the winter, from springtails to stoneflies, despite temperatures of below 0℃.
Miikka Friman films nature and studies media oriented topics at an upper secondary school located in Vantaa, Finland. His films have received several awards in Europe and since 1997, his focus has been on damselflies and dragonflies. Miikka is one of the 12 founders of the Finnish Dragonfly Society and he is a deputy member of the society's government. He tries his best in capturing insects in their natural habitat.
