In midsummer, a girl finds a dead frog at a Shinto shrine. Just as she becomes fascinated with it, the frog's ghost appears before her. It doesn't bother her -- rather it merely becomes a part of her life, like the air and water. Although with some worries, she accepts the frog and carries on her life as usual. Japanesque rural scenery is beautifully utilized.
